For Some American Voters No Mormon, Lesbian, Atheist, Hispanic, ...

A June 2011 Gallup poll said that 22% of voters would not vote for a qualified candidate if he was Mormon. The prejudice against Mormon candidates was only exceeded by gay or lesbian(32%) or atheist (49%) candidates. By contrast, 10% or fewer say they would not vote for a Hispanic, Jewish, Baptist, Catholic, female, or black candidate.
